Mine seems waterproof but the fact that it's non hackable is the biggest problem, also the crystal is not the best.

I tend to avoid department store watch brands, but occasionally one will pop with it's aesthetics. If the price isn't too high and the watch has a good movement I'd consider buying one.

I love the aesthetics on Timex's old watches, but there's no way I'd pay $200 for a Timex.

I have an automatic Citizen diver, and a Ecodrive Citizen diver. I like both a good deal, but I'm not crazy about the rubber strap that came with the Ecodrive version.

I disagree on the cheapness comment, the Timex imo is more elegant and modern while still looking retro. Also the larger case has more wrist presence, even on my smaller 6 3/4 inch wrist, the Casio's look a bit to small.

My Orient Bambino is literally the most inaccurate watch I own. It keeps time so badly that despite it's beauty it never gets wrist time.

I consider Armitron the cheapest of the cheapo Walmart watches. We can do better, wayyyy better.

Other videos showed that the F91W (Water Restistant) can withstand 6 bar (60meters!) water pressure without problems, even for days. Why should it be different with the A700? It's the same seals and construction. 🤔

The problem with the F91W is the silicon arm strap. It tends to rip off after some years and a replacement is not worth it, instead just buy a new F91W. Maybe the A158 with metal strap is way better, but then the better A168 has a useful backlighting... maybe the A700 is the best of the best: slim, good backlight, retro looks and metal straps. But then there are color options... silver is good but gets dirty during sports, gold is perfect and aestetics but looks way over the top on the sports bicycle and a litte pimp like. Duhh... I hate CASIO, too many options!

With the NH35 inside, it's going up against far more established brands that are much cheaper and are consistently delivering exquisite finishing. Unless you want to specifically support Jody (and there's nothing wrong if you do) then better value can be had elsewhere IMO.

Adventerous one here. I've always wanted a malachite dial watch so to see one under $500 has me strongly considering it for my next purchase.

Part of the reason i like titanium is that i know it marks easy in general depending on grade, and its a part of the story, also if you have a bump you are likely not gonna dent it somehow, if you did you probably dropped it or snapped your wrist, also its the metal option if your skin is sensitive to other metals or rubbers depending on use case.
